My name's Adam.

I started makin' a website around February 22nd, 2024, because I surfed thru past websites of the '90s/2000s and... I dunno, I guess I like the past.

And not just one moment in the past, every moment. You name it, '50s, '80s, 2000s, '20s, 0s, all of them.

I'll list off a few other things I like:

The Flintstones.

The past.

Yeah, I kinda realize that almost everything I do is because I like the past.

I like games like LEGO Island, Club Penguin Journey, Minesweeper Together, and stuff like that. Playin' Roblox for a decade was like watchin' the fall of Rome right before my eyes. It fell for the same reasons, too. Got too big, Population was too crazy, they outsourced defense to barbarians, there was a bunch of corruption, and... Actually, you can see the fall of Rome in pretty much anythin'. Like milk.

But I do more stuff than play games, so I'll list off a few more things I like, real fast:

Escapin' from the future, pacin' around the livin' room while daydreamin' of the future hopefully bein' better, compromise, makin' stuff, listenin' to old music, wonderin' about the past n' future, talkin' to the people that still care to talk on Discord Messenger/AIM, Windows XP, customization, collectin' old technology, the TI-99/4A, photography, I don't like France, and I like ancient Roman legacy, camcorders, and there's probably more stuff too, But I'd say my favorite of these would be escapin' from the future, and talkin' to the people that still care to talk.

The things I like above are just because, you guessed it, I like the past. (What? Don't tell me people still do photography!)

The operatin' system I use is Windows 11 but I hate Windows 11, so I made it almost indistinguishable from Windows XP.

I just realized, I never explained why exactly I like the past. Less corporations exploitin' people on the interwebs, less polarization, more hope! More color!

I could babble incoherently about the past and the future and corporations and governments and politics and societal trends and ancient Rome and history and the Renaissance and decadence and isolation and America and China and the Dark Ages and loneliness and propaganda and worldviews and polarization and... And I probably shouldn't babble right now. :(

I'm startin' to get tired of shortenin' -ing to -in'. I dunno what to do.
