I bought a Sony Mavica FD-73 off eBay and now I've got the power of a camera that takes floppy disks. >:D
This is my setup, pretty neato, huh? I went for the early 2000's look. This is the new version with the floppy disk holder and the AOL free trial CD as a coaster. Funny thing, the guy that gave me that PC -- it doesn't work, but who cares, it's just for show, -- offered to give it to me for 25 cents, along with a trackball mouse still in box and a few monitors.
Get a look at these, the boombox here is a Panasonic RX-5150, and I got it for 125 bucks, yet it's real value is somewhere around 800! Also here is an Aiwa HS-P06 and I got it for 30 bucks, and, as you might have guessed, it's a worth a lot more than that. I love flea markets. Also, some cool cassettes, because any cool guy like me would have them.
Pretend it's a Friday night in 1996 and you just rented your favorite movie on VHS, and the pizza will be here in 30 minutes or less, or else... Uhh... I think they stopped doin' that.
The TI-99/4A: The ideal 1982 computin' experience. If you don't have a Commodore or Atari, that is. This whole setup costed... Uhh, pfft, I don't know, like, 600 dollars or somethin' big like that. I coulda gotten a Commodore VIC-20 with that money.
This is on my top 5 pictures I've ever taken. I took it at dawn and it looks really, really cool. I think the purple-ish clouds are what makes it look so cool.
This one just screams '90s computer desktop. There was another photo like this, but I picked this one since it has an awesome lookin' lens flare.
This one looks tropical, which is strange since I took it durin' peak fall times in Orange County, Indiana. This picture looks oddly familiar to another picture I've seen, but I can't put my finger on it.
I took this on that same trip when it was sunset. This one looks much more fall-y, and also BEAUTIFUL because of the rays of sunshine hittin' some of the trees.
This was taken durin' the first snow of winter 2024, if I recall correctly. Very cozy!
